SEVILLE, Spain (AP) -A dozen Spanish clubs gathered Thursday to discuss a solution to the domestic league's skewed TV revenue sharing system, which heavily favors giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Sevilla says on its website the presidents of 11 other teams have joined it at its Sanchez Pizjuan stadium for the debate, including Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Villarreal.

Spanish champion Barcelona and Madrid - who pull in half of the TV money for a combined ?250 million ($350 million) - were not invited. Sevilla says Real Sociedad, Getafe, Rayo Vallecano and Sporting Gijon were not attending "but shared the view."

Club president Jose Maria del Nido has likened the "grassroots" movement to the French Revolution.
