A 75-year-old small business owner in Chicago has been labeled a ?racist? by a vandal after posting an anti-Obama messages on his store window, CBS Chicago reports.
Sam Wolfson is reportedly a well known shopkeeper in Lincoln Square and has been well respected by the community for more than a decade.
Written by hand on plain white paper, Wolfson posted the following messages on his store window:
?Romney, if you want to be president, you have to say this: ?If I?m elected, I will not bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia?? and ?Obama I built this business working 7 days a week, you didn?t.?
He told WBBM Newsradio that he came into work one morning and found a response written in lipstick.
?I was coming to work and in lipstick it had a sign, ?Racist.? I?m not a racist. My wife is Spanish. Come on,? he said.
Wolfson says this kind of behavior is to be excepted during such a highly contested election year.
WBBM Newsradio got a reaction from at least one local resident.
?I don?t necessarily disagree with the sentiments by the lipstick vandal? But I don?t condone such actions,? one person said.
