New Online System for Z Visa Invitation Letter Applications
Effective from April 5, 2012, the Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Center requires that all Z Visa Invitation Letter Applications first be applied for via their online system. Upon the online application being approved (within one working day), the physical Z Visa Invitation Letter Application and printed online approval will be submitted to the Foreign Affairs Centre.
For some companies with high volumes, the Foreign Affairs Centre has already issued an account. However, most companies will need to register online and set up an account before submitting the first online. The company?s legal representative information such as name, passport number/ID number, nationality will be required when registering.
The Z Visa Invitation Letter processing time will be lengthened by one day due to the online filing requirement.
The new requirement will affect all companies in Shenzhen who will hire foreign nationals.
